(1) MDD Bal Bhawan (CCI) operates under the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act. This ensures they adhere to legal guidelines for child care institutions.Admissions and discharges are handled by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of Karnal. This ensures proper procedures for bringing children into and releasing them from care.The Haryana Government’s Women and Child Development (WCD) department oversees staff appointments, police verification, and qualifications.This guarantees qualified and trustworthy staff for the children.
(2) MDD Bal Bhawan fosters a collaborative environment by welcoming regular visits from WCD officials and the HSCPCR. Their support and guidance ensure we provide the best possible care for children.
(3) Demonstrating our commitment to transparency, MDD Bal Bhawan welcomes regular inspections by the DCPS and CWC, Karnal. These thorough evaluations, conducted twice monthly, ensure we maintain the highest standards of care for the children entrusted to us.
(4) Demonstrating our commitment to transparency and accountability, MDD Bal Bhawan welcomes quarterly inspections by the District Inspection Committee under the DC, Karnal.
(5) MDD Bal Bhawan is privileged to receive monthly visits from the esteemed Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) and District Session Judge of Karnal. These high-level visits not only ensure thorough inspections but also demonstrate their commitment to the well-being of our children.
(6) MDD Bal Bhawan prioritizes the health of the children in our care. In accordance with the JJ Act, we receive quarterly health checkups conducted by the Public Health Center (PHC), Sector 6, Karnal.
(7) It sounds like your staff is attending a valuable training from the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD). NIPCCD offers programs in Mohali and Delhi, so the location might depend on the training type.
(8) Our organization is receiving funding through the Mission Vatsalya Grant-in-Aid program. This grant helps us cover the monthly maintenance costs (Rs. 3,000 per child) associated with caring for children under the program’s guidelines.
(9) It sounds like there’s a great program in Karnal by the WCD, possibly the Women and Child Development department. They organize various creative activities like art, painting, singing, and dance competitions at the district and state level for children. These competitions can be a fun way for kids to develop their skills and confidence.
